Sue Pitts

Regional Director

Sue Pitts is Director of the Iowa Western Community College Small Business Development Center. Sue has a strong background in marketing, public relations, and business development, with additional experience in community development and business counseling. She has over 8 years experience as a co-owner/manager of a small business and 25+ years experience in small business marketing, digital marketing, market research, and managing budgets. Through the SBDC, Sue has provided professional, one-on-one business counseling to entrepreneurs and small businesses since March 2004. Michael Mitilier

Assistant Regional Director

Michael Mitilier is an entrepreneurial executive he has over 25 years experience leading, developing and managing growth of small businesses. Before coming to SBDC he was the Executive Director and founder and the Small Business Association of the Midlands and spent time as a Microsoft trainer.  He is a certified Gallup Entrepreneur Acceleration System Guide, GrowthWheel Adviser and Constant Contact Authorized Local Expert. He has co-authored two books; “Rule of Thumb: A Guide to Small Business Basics” and “Rule of Thumb: A Guide to Small Business Software Technology”.
